This application utilizes location services to deliver targeted tips as users arrive at selected destinations, such as parks, libraries, stores, and restaurants. Users receive practical and research-backed recommendations in both English and Spanish, facilitating meaningful interactions that can positively impact a child's language skills.

How to Get Started
Initiating use of Talk Around Town is straightforward:

 <li>Select a location by either pressing and holding on the map or entering an address through the “Location” menu.</li>
 <li>Upon arriving at your designated locations, notifications will prompt you to access tailored tips for that outing.</li>
 <li>Explore three actionable suggestions by clicking on each notification to see how they can be applied in real time.</li>
</ol>

To ensure seamless functionality, please enable location services and notifications prior to your outings. For additional information, visit tat.weegoapp.org.

Talk Around Town was developed collaboratively by Juniper Gardens Children’s Project and Asgaardian Workshop at the University of Kansas. Importantly, both entities prioritize your privacy and do not collect personal data that could identify you or your child.
